Founded on August 5, 2013, J.A.C. Unlimited, Inc. is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through compassion, opportunity, and empowerment. Our name Joy of Always Caring reflects the heart of who we are and the unwavering commitment we make to every individual and family we serve.
We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to build a stable, healthy, and successful future, regardless of the challenges they have faced. Whether supporting a veteran transitioning to civilian life, a young person experiencing homelessness, a youth aging out of foster care, or a student discovering entrepreneurship through GEN88, our mission remains the same: to provide the tools, support, and opportunities needed to help individuals thrive.
Our Approach
Everything we do is guided by four core commitments:
- Stabilize – Meet immediate needs through housing support, basic necessities, and resource navigation.
- Equip – Provide education, life skills, financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurial training.
- Empower – Build confidence through mentorship, behavioral health services, leadership development, and meaningful opportunities.
- Transform – Create lasting change by helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency, economic mobility, and community impact.

We exist because too many individuals face obstacles that limit their opportunities not because of a lack of potential, but because of a lack of access, support, and resources.
We are committed to changing that reality by connecting people to safe housing, mental health services, educational opportunities, career development, and economic empowerment.
Our work is grounded in the belief that true transformation begins when people are supported holistically. By addressing immediate needs while investing in long-term growth, we help individuals build confidence, strengthen resilience, and create brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
